about

Out of the silence
Out of the darkness
Deep in the forest
The Awen Family emerges
Under an EZ up tent
Powered by a generator
In the glow of a thousand twinkling string lights
Sounds of the truth
Mystery and faith
Paper lanterns lead the way
To a new experience
A new direction
Friends old and new
Elevating each other
To flow together
As One
One Spirit
One Breath
One Soul
One Love

Live at the Heap Festival 10.11.2019
Little Creek Vineyards and Music
Late night set on the Awen Stage from 1am - 4am
No rehearsal or planning
All Improv with basic song structures

We encourage everyone to download the show and share it with your friends, family and fellow live music lovers. Send the files, burn CD's, dub a cassette, put it on a wax player. However you do! Please, please, please come to the shows and join us on our journey together. You are the Awen Family!

This was also the first time the Ngoni was broken out live after a month of learning to play it. It was rescued from being a wall decoration by Jim Husk and after a little TLC and a new string, countless hours tuning, the Ngoni lives and breathes new life. Grateful for it's new home, it sings it's song it thought it had lost a long time ago. Carry on little harp, we will follow your lead.

Special thank you to all of the wonderful musicians who joined together to create this Awen experience. All of the beautiful people who helped create the experience with your presence. Uncle Johns Bone, Charles Frank for inviting us and allowing us to create to our heart's content. The great spirit and eternal energy for allowing us to exist in the here and now, to live this beautiful life and continue to grow ever upward and to be servants to the flow.

Much Love and infinite blessings,
Awen Family
